As Holy Tuesday approaches mid-day, I reread N.T. Wright’s observance about Jesus’ request of whether the cup of death can be taken from Him. He knew it could not, and He accepts God’s answer. With complete obedience He dies for our salvation. Jesus is the supreme example of God’s unwavering love for us if we turn to Him. Repentance is vital and life-giving. When we are broken, Jesus makes a path for wholeness and restoration to our mighty God! We rejoice that Easter approaches.
